Conquer (v.): “To overcome or surmount by physical, mental, or moral force.”

Everyday tribulations are set for the children of God. The enemy, Satan, tests your faith daily. Romans 8:37 guides us into understanding that we cannot be separated from the love of Christ unless we choose to give in to the enemy. The Christ in us gives us the power to conquer, but we must believe in Him. We have to stay steadfast in knowledge of the word and the way we choose to live according to the word.

Did you know as a Woman of Purpose, that you are called to conquer? For so many women, we are often our own worst enemy. Sometimes we get so caught up in our own thoughts and methodology that we forget that God has a plan and purpose for our lives. I Corinthians 15:2 (NIV) states “By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.” In other words, if you believe in His word for your salvation, believe in the whole word that He has purpose for your life and has called you to conquer and succeed. For His word also reminds us in Philippians 4: 13, that we can do all things through Christ Jesus that strengthens us.

Do you find yourself thinking about how you are not where you want to be right now in your career, family life, or monetarily? Do you find yourself filled with a lacking spirit? Are you unsatisfied? The Bible tells us that we are to rejoice in our emptiness for our latter will be greater! Isaiah 54:1-4 is a call to praise and worship, calling for the barren woman to rejoice and shout for joy. Even when you’re empty today, in the end, you too will triumph.

Do you find yourself scared and you find yourself stuck in fear, unable to take that next big step? At this point, you are living too small where you are. God has promised His children a breakthrough and an inheritance. Isaiah 54:4 says to “fear not!” God keeps you safe in His arms when you are living for Him. Continue to pray for increase in the spirit and decrease in the flesh. Your territory will enlarge when you strive to perfect living for Christ.

Know that we all have been appointed to edify and to glorify God. We are called by God to spread the good news of the gospel, but in doing this, there will be those who do not believe in the love of God. We have also been called to carry out specific assignments but will have to contend with the unbelievers and doubters. None the less we must forge ahead with what God has put in our hearts. The Book of Esther opens our eyes to the fact that jealousy among men can destroy. It also showed us how the courageous act of one woman, saved the lives of many. It was her love for God, her family and the people of God that gave her the courage to go ahead. Remember, God has purposed that we are to build each other up as a people, help them when in trouble, and love ye one another, as He has loved us.

Therefore as Women of Purpose, it’s time to claim what is ours, walk in what has already been purposed for us to do by believing it, and receiving it. The day has come to glorify the Savior and lift Him up. It’s time to stretch God and trust Him to work through us. Because we are more than conquerors and have been called for such a time as this!!!
